John Earl

General Manager

As a key member of the executive team at Arena, John’s empathetic leadership skills are crucial in building a culture of collaboration within the business.

John started his career in the construction industry in 2003. John brings years of proven leadership skills, strong problem-solving ability and decision making to his role and is responsible for overseeing all aspects of operational activities, ensuring an efficient and effective service is provided to clients.

Ray Bachir

Development Director

Ray is a property professional with over 28 years of experience working within the construction and development industry.

As Development Manager, Ray is entrusted in managing the functions and operations of all company ventures including new business opportunities, site acquisition, managing the design and development of each project and ensuring all deliverables are achieved. Ray and his passion for luxury mixed-use developments plays a vital role in the success of Arena’s projects, ensuring that our visions and expectations come to life.

Christopher Hook

Financial Controller

Chris is responsible for the overall financial strategy and direction at Arena. He guides the Finance and Treasury Team to pursue the company’s growth strategy whilst maintaining client and stakeholder expectations.

With over 15 years’ experience in the Property and Construction Industry, Chris has held senior-level financial positions with other well-known and respected companies and with that brings varied experience in financial management, business leadership and corporate strategy. He has helped these companies to define their strategic direction, streamline financial and procedural policies and create monitoring and accountability systems.

Matthew Hodge

Construction Manager

Matthew is responsible for the management and delivery of projects which can often be from design concept through construction to completion and hand over.

Matthew has been involved in several landmark projects during his career, his skills include design and development of projects from concept through design development, authority, and client approvals, through to construction and Hand-over. Matthew’s expert knowledge across all construction and contract types ensures Arena’s projects are successfully delivered.
